teal is a writer, editor, and artist currently based in New Haven, CT. she is a recent graduate of UCLA’s English program and has attended fiction workshops at Emerson College, UCLA, and Lambda Literary. she is also an editorial assistant at CRAFT Literary.

her creative work explores the nuance of girlhood, the body, and a few other funnier topics. she is currently working on a new adult manuscript about roller derby.
